Staying Safe on vkiks
vkiks is designed to be a safe, welcoming space for fans of anime, gaming, travel, sports, and more. Here's how we keep it that way — and what you should know.
✅ How vkiks is designed to be safer
- No private messaging. All interactions on vkiks are public. You can join an experience and see who else joined — but there is no way to send private messages to other users within the platform.
- Public-only profiles. User profiles display only what the user chooses to share (display name, interests, cruise status). No location data or contact info is shown publicly.
- Report button on every post. Every post has a 🚩 flag button. Reports go directly to the moderation team.
- Moderated platform. We review flagged posts and accounts and take action on violations of our community rules.
⚠️ Things to keep in mind
- vkiks connects people with shared interests — but use good judgment before sharing personal contact info (social handles, phone numbers, Discord tags) in post descriptions or comments.
- If someone you don't know asks for your personal information, that's a red flag. Report the post and do not share it.
- For teens: talk to a parent or trusted adult before sharing any personal details with people you've only met online, even if they seem friendly.
- vkiks will never ask for your password, payment info, or personal address through the platform.
🚫 Prohibited behavior
The following are violations of our Terms of Service and will result in immediate account removal:
- Attempting to contact minors for inappropriate purposes
- Sharing or soliciting explicit, sexual, or inappropriate content
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
- Impersonating another person or organization
- Any illegal activity
